Narcissus – Påskens första och sista lilja / Narcissus – The first and last daffodil of Easter
Narcissus – The first and last daffodil of Easter
Subtle daffodils breaks the ground,
golden light calms our worry.
Feelings gather, in silent sound,
brotherhood is present, need not hurry.
The sunshine is captured by the petals,
the wind race pass the stalk.
Sentinel concrete, guards like metal,
embrace each other, needs no talk.
Then one day, the lily withers,
but continue as a part in space.
Last of all, fades the figures,
next step? New world, new place…
- Johan Edfeldt
Narcissus – Påskens första och sista lilja
Påskliljor subtila bryter jorden,
gyllene sken stillar oron.
Känslor samlas i de vackra orden,
gemenskap stärker tilltron.
Solskenet fångas uti kronbladen,
vinden forsar bredvid stjälken.
Betongen vakar över innerstaden,
närhet är ibland den bästa hjälpen.
Så en dag vissnar liljan,
men blir fortsatt en del av alltet.
Men sist av allt stillar viljan,
nästa steg? Ingen vet…

Let's say that it requires quite a bit of time investment. Podcast: Episode 2 - Where does all the time go?
Where does all the time go?
Where does all that time go? 24 hours a day and still many of us don’t have enough time for the things we would like to do. I would like to help you get some data on where you spend your time. In connection with Episode 2 of my podcast, about Free Time and How To Get It, I’ve made a free simple excel spreadsheet that you can download from my webpage johanedfeldt.com/downloads. With the spreadsheet it’s easier for you to have a think about where you’ve spent your time and get some data over a week or two. When you have that data you can start to consider if there is anything, small or large, that you can change in order to free up some more time for your passion project (until you reach the stage where you can live off your passionJ), whatever it may be. It’s a very simple sheet and it doesn’t matter how you map your time (log your time), the important thing is to get a feel for where it all goes. For some it might come as a bit of surprise that for example the commuting to work is taking 2 hours a day, which means 10 hours a week on a five day work week. It can however turn out that part of those 2 hours can be spent on something else than, driving? It all depends on what options you have available, but for some it might be an option to commute with train, buss or some colleagues. During this time there might be periods that you can use for either work related projects or why not your own passion project (if it’s not your time to drive the commuting car of course, then it’s probably better to focus on the driving). I used to spend a lot of my commuting time writing my fantasy novel and catching up on some work projects, sure I spent some extra time on the actual travelling but then again I got my hobby project done for the day, or reached further on my job projects, and that gave me a strong feeling of comfort.
