Johan Edfeldt
Johan Edfeldt, the Performance Wizard 🐉📊, made his debut as a Swedish author in 2018 with the middle-grade fantasy The Lost Colour, the first book in The Saga of the World Within. The series continued with The Lost Sword in 2020 and The Great Escape in 2023.
That same year, Johan ventured into darker territory with Polar: The Ice Dragon's Curse, a perilous romance set in a frozen land. He expanded that world in 2024 with Polar: Dressed in Dragonscales, deepening its themes of survival, passion, and power in the far north.
Beyond fiction, Johan balances storytelling with a career in data and Enterprise Performance Management (EPM), working in logistics and business development in Denmark. In 2024 he introduced Performantria, a groundbreaking framework that reimagines EPM through gamified storytelling. The framework became a book of its own in 2025.
When he's not writing or working, Johan can be found barefoot running, knocking out pull-ups and push-ups, or dabbling in music.
Johan's fantasy series Polar explores a darker world where warmth and love mean everything. The Saga of the World Within books take a lighter turn: family-friendly fantasy packed with action and adventure.
Johan also makes music. His debut single, "I Should Be Famous by Now," is a playful, nostalgic pop-rock track about ambition, frustration, and the absurd hope of being noticed in a noisy world.
